A huge welcome back to the Simon Lau Centre year of 2019 I hope you all had a fantastic festive season and that everyone took the time to recharge, enjoy life and have some fun!  We had a successful year and we aim to do even better.  I very much look forward to teaching you the art of Wing Chun and Qigong.  To overcome the fear of violence both within ourselves and in other people and both Wing Chun and Qigong disciplines will allow you to improve your self-confidence, self-control and mental strength to cultivate your assertive behaviour in the face of both direct and indirect aggression, giving you the ability to live life in a more fulfilling, peaceful and spontaneous way.  And seeing your development grows once again mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  I am proud of each and every one of you.

A big thank you for the many gifts and cards that I received at the Christmas dinner party I was most overwhelmed.  It is always very kind of you to take the time to write the lovely comments that I received.  The champagne has been supped, the chocolates munched and my home full of well wishes cards.  I thank you!

As you know we are a values Centre and we endeavour to ensure that all students show respect for what we have and we constantly remind students of the values that underpin our every action.  Simon Lau Centre will continue to support you.



For some time I have been concerned with the number of students that seem to feel anxious and stressed with life’s challenges/changes and I am aiming to promote Constitutional Workshop for body, and mind and soul with Breathing in Mindfulness Seminar and Compatibility Dating Seminar.  Its aims is for all students to engage in a serious of activities to help you to be more active, develop a positive attitude to life and learning, understand the important of mental/spiritual discipline, emotionally and spiritual intelligence.  With self-development to understand the important aspect of clarity and sharing.  All important aspects of developing a strong sense of well-being!
